π˜›π˜©π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 π˜™π˜¦π˜’π˜­π˜ͺ𝘻𝘦π˜₯ π˜–π˜― π˜›π˜©π˜¦ 𝘞𝘒𝘺 π˜‹π˜°π˜Έπ˜― was originally recorded and released in 2004, essentially in tandem with Cid’s π˜³Ι™π˜·π˜ΆΙ™Β² and other side projects of mine. It was inspired by my love for MTV’s Unplugged in my teenage years, and as such, featured no electric instruments. It was my first CD to be released in a shrink-wrapped jewel case.

Then the unthinkable happened. Just after its release, but before I had the chance to backup my master tracks to CD-R, my computer’s hard drive failed. I tried to recover π˜›π˜©π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 π˜™π˜¦π˜’π˜­π˜ͺ𝘻𝘦π˜₯... as well as countless other project files, but to no avail.

Fast forward nine years… In 2013, when I was scouting for talent and gigs for the Fabulous Decline live band, I recorded a promo CD. This promo contained songs from π˜›π˜©π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 π˜™π˜¦π˜’π˜­π˜ͺ𝘻𝘦π˜₯... as well as its still-unfinished follow-up. But, unbeknownst to most, I had actually re-recorded the entirety of π˜›π˜©π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 π˜™π˜¦π˜’π˜­π˜ͺ𝘻𝘦π˜₯... in the process of making the promo.

Today, I’d like to announce π˜›π˜©π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 π˜™π˜¦π˜’π˜­π˜ͺ𝘻𝘦π˜₯ π˜–π˜― π˜›π˜©π˜¦ 𝘞𝘒𝘺 π˜‹π˜°π˜Έπ˜― (2013 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘴π˜ͺ𝘰𝘯) - manipulated as heavily as possible to bring it into the present, from those 2013 master tracks. I strongly consider this album as one of the best I’ve ever made, and besides being some of my catchiest work, this version sounds at least tenfold better than the original 2004 album, nostalgia be damned.
